Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately store items in designated locations within the warehouse or storage facility.
  • Maintain precise inventory records, performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Prepare and fulfill outgoing orders, ensuring correct items are picked, packed, and labeled for dispatch.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to ensure timely reordering.
  • Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly storage area, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Assist in implementing and improving inventory control procedures and systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and accurate order fulfillment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory control role.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock counts.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in logistics/supply chain preferred.
  • Experience with forklift operation and certification.
  • Familiarity with lean inventory principles.
