Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately store items in designated locations within the warehouse or storage facility.
- Maintain precise inventory records, performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Prepare and fulfill outgoing orders, ensuring correct items are picked, packed, and labeled for dispatch.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to ensure timely reordering.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly storage area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist in implementing and improving inventory control procedures and systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and accurate order fulfillment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory control role.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock counts.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
