Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and diligent On-site Truck Loader to join our bustling distribution hub in North Pole, Fairbanks. This critical role is the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring that incoming and outgoing shipments are handled with precision, speed, and safety. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of various materials and products from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles. You’ll operate essential equipment, follow strict safety protocols, and work closely with warehouse staff to optimize workflow. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles using manual methods or appropriate material handling equipment.
- Verify product counts, types, and conditions against shipping documents, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Organize and stack merchandise in designated areas within the warehouse and on trailers, optimizing space and ensuring stability.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the loading dock and warehouse areas.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and truck drivers to facilitate smooth and timely operations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation, as needed.
- Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs consistently)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and verification
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and inventory checks
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established protocols

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar loading/unloading role

- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including cold temperatures
