Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate receiving, stocking, and inventory management of goods.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring correct item picking and packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for all inventory transactions and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse flow and processes.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, specifically with stock control responsibilities.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
