Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including data entry, invoice verification, and payment processing.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports.
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial data.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding financial matters.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
