Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Business Analyst to join our dynamic team, working remotely from Cleveland, Ohio. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in analyzing our digital platforms, online products, and customer journeys to identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation. As an Online Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on optimizing our online presence, improving user experience, and driving digital growth. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting detailed business requirements for new features and improvements across our digital channels, including our website, mobile apps, and online banking platforms. This involves conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to provide actionable insights. You will play a pivotal role in the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and requirements definition to testing, deployment, and post-launch analysis. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of online business processes, digital products, and customer interactions to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Gather, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements and user stories for digital projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Perform data analysis using various analytical tools to uncover trends, measure performance, and provide data-driven recommendations for online enhancements.
- Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation, including process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the digital banking space to identify opportunities and threats.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements, validate solutions, and communicate project updates effectively.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of KeyBank's digital roadmap by providing insights and recommendations based on analysis and market understanding.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within an online or digital environment.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, Excel).
- Strong understanding of digital product development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and requirements elicitation techniques.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with online banking or fintech products.
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Agile (CSPO, PMI-ACP).
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
