Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Online Community Manager to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to our global community strategy from anywhere in Singapore, with a strong focus on our presence in Ang Mo Kio Central and the wider APAC region. As our Online Community Manager, you will be the heart and soul of our digital interactions, responsible for cultivating a vibrant, engaged, and supportive community around our brand and products. You will strategize, execute, and manage all community-building initiatives, acting as a crucial bridge between our users and our internal teams.
This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and empathetic communication. You will be instrumental in developing community guidelines, moderating discussions, creating engaging content, and running events that foster a sense of belonging and loyalty among our users. Beyond daily engagement, you will also be responsible for monitoring community health, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights to product and marketing teams to ensure our offerings continuously meet the evolving needs of our audience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies aligned with company goals and brand values.
- Actively moderate online discussions across various platforms (forums, social media, chat groups) to maintain a positive and constructive environment.
- Create and curate engaging content, including posts, articles, and multimedia, to spark conversations and drive participation.
- Organize and facilitate online events, webinars, Q&A sessions, and contests to foster community interaction and excitement.
- Monitor community sentiment, identify key trends, and provide regular reports with actionable insights to relevant internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and seamless user experience.
- Identify and nurture community advocates, influencers, and super-users to amplify brand messaging.
- Respond to community inquiries, feedback, and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues as necessary.
- Establish and enforce community guidelines to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive online space.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging platforms, and community management tools.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of proven experience in online community management, social media management, or a related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build, grow, and moderate online communities effectively.
- Proficiency with various community platforms and social media tools (e.g., Discord, Reddit, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, CRM systems).
- Strong understanding of online behavior, community dynamics, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Ability to analyze community data and metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
