Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, personalized, and effective one-on-one English lessons via video calls on the Preply platform.
- Develop and adapt teaching materials and lesson plans to cater to students' varying proficiency levels, learning styles, and specific goals (e.g., general English, business English, exam preparation).
- Routinely assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage continuous improvement in speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and culturally sensitive learning environment that motivates students.
- Effectively manage your teaching schedule and availability using Preply's intuitive calendar system.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with students to arrange lessons, confirm appointments, and address any learning-related queries.
- Commit to ongoing professional development, including staying updated on ESL teaching methodologies and utilizing Preply’s tutor resources.
- Ensure a stable, high-speed internet connection and conduct lessons from a quiet, professional setting.
- Actively utilize Preply’s platform features for scheduling, messaging, and processing payments seamlessly.
Required Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in English (C2/C1 level proficiency).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
