Sound is actively seeking a dedicated Online Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative telehealth team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote mental health counseling services to individuals, groups, and families via secure telehealth platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine client needs and formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized, strengths-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
  • Monitor client progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and facilitate appropriate referrals to community resources.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards of practice for licensed mental health professionals in Washington State.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems proficiently for documentation and scheduling.

Required Skills

  • Current Washington State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing telehealth services.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal guidelines related to mental health practice and telehealth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
