Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute online merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility, improve conversion rates, and drive sales.
- Manage product content, including descriptions, images, videos, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compelling presentation across all digital channels.
- Optimize product categorization, filtering, and search functionality to improve site navigation and user experience.
- Implement SEO best practices for product pages and digital content to maximize organic search discoverability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal events with effective online merchandising tactics.
- Analyze website analytics and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in merchandising efforts.
- Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed on industry trends and ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Work closely with web development and IT teams to troubleshoot any technical issues affecting product display or functionality.
- Report on key merchandising metrics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Assist in A/B testing initiatives to optimize product placement, imagery, and promotional content.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in online merchandising or e-commerce content management (minimum 3 years)
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
- Proficiency in web analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics
- Solid grasp of SEO principles and their application in e-commerce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
