Are you a visionary instructional designer with a passion for creating transformative online learning experiences? e-Campus Learning is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Online Training Curriculum Designer to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of education in Zimbabwe, developing engaging and effective online curricula that meet the needs of a wide range of learners.
This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mutoko, Mashonaland East Province, while collaborating with a vibrant team spread across the country. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of comprehensive online training programs, from initial concept and needs assessment to final implementation and evaluation. This involves applying adult learning principles, instructional design theories, and cutting-edge e-learning technologies to produce high-quality, interactive, and outcomes-driven content.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and analyze target audience characteristics to define learning objectives and outcomes.
- Design and develop comprehensive curriculum frameworks, course outlines, and instructional materials for online delivery.
- Utilize various instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to structure effective learning paths and activities.
- Create engaging and interactive content, including text, graphics, audio, video scripts, simulations, and assessments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, ensure accuracy, and validate instructional materials.
- Integrate multimedia elements and interactive features to enhance learner engagement and retention.
- Develop assessment strategies and tools to measure learning effectiveness and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented curricula and make data-driven revisions for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in e-learning, instructional design, and educational best practices.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Instructional Design principles and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development and content creation for online platforms.
- Strong command of Learning Management Systems (LMS) functionality and best practices.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with diverse cultural contexts, particularly within Zimbabwe or Southern Africa.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software for e-learning content creation.
- Experience in developing competency-based learning modules.
- Certification in Instructional Design or E-learning development.
