Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager with a strong focus on Business Coordination to join our dynamic team in Santa Cruz, Saint Elizabeth Parish. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily operational activities within the branch, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Coordinate cross-functional business activities and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and seamless execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), identifying trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manage branch budget, resources, and inventory effectively to optimize operational costs.
- Ensure robust risk management practices are in place and adhered to, safeguarding company assets and customer information.
- Act as a primary liaison between the branch and head office departments, facilitating effective communication and problem resolution.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, leverage technology, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution in line with service standards.
- Prepare comprehensive operational reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles.
- Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
