Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments.
- Oversee and optimise all logistical processes, including inventory management, resource allocation, and supply chain coordination.
- Design, review, and refine workflow processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve operational flow and reduce waste.
- Lead, mentor, and manage operational staff, fostering a high-performance culture through effective training, development, and performance appraisals.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational activities, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to continuously improve operational capabilities.
- Collaborate with other departmental managers to ensure seamless integration of operational strategies with overall business objectives.
- Handle complex operational challenges and make critical decisions under pressure.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Operations Management, preferably within logistics or a related field.
- Demonstrable expertise in workflow analysis, process improvement, and lean methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistical principles.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
