Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with a passion for logistics and operational excellence? Super U Mauritius is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Order Fulfillment Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Bel Air Rivière Sèche. In this critical role, you will be the linchpin in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, every time. You will manage the entire order lifecycle from processing to dispatch, collaborating closely with warehousing, inventory, and delivery teams. Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly captured.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for picking, packing, and staging of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability for fulfilling orders and flag discrepancies.
- Schedule and track shipments with internal and external logistics partners, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and any potential delays.
- Resolve order-related issues or discrepancies, such as damaged goods, missing items, or delivery problems, in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all fulfillment activities, including order processing, shipping manifests, and inventory movements.
- Generate reports on order fulfillment performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and customer service departments to ensure a cohesive and smooth customer experience.
- Implement and adhere to all company policies and safety procedures related to warehousing and order fulfillment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in order fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, or a related operational role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems specific to retail or distribution.
- Familiarity with local shipping regulations and logistics procedures in Mauritius.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French/Creole) is a strong advantage.
