Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of event sites, including marquees, staging, seating, and equipment.
  • Support event managers with on-site logistics, crowd management, and problem-solving during live events.
  • Provide excellent customer service to event attendees, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Manage and maintain event equipment, ensuring proper handling, storage, and inventory.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Perform general administrative and support tasks as required by the event management team.

Required Skills

  • Proven physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, lift and carry equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work long hours and in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Eligibility or willingness to undergo visa sponsorship for UK work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (paid or voluntary) in events, hospitality, or a related field.
  • A qualification in Event Management, Hospitality, or a relevant discipline.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience working in a multicultural team or environment.
