Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to unforeseen changes as needed.
- Verify accurate package counts and delivery information using handheld devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Handle packages of varying weights and sizes, including lifting up to 50 lbs independently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
