Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort incoming and outgoing packages according to designated routes, postcodes, or delivery zones.
- Load and unload packages from trucks, conveyor belts, and other transport vehicles.
- Scan packages accurately using handheld devices to track movement and update inventory.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including moving pallets and organizing storage areas.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency and meet daily targets.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including those related to security and data protection.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of sorting systems and equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 20kg repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting tasks.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count packages.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
