Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming and outgoing packages based on destination, size, and type using established procedures.
- Scan package labels with handheld devices to record movement and update tracking information.
- Load and unload parcels from conveyor belts, delivery vehicles, and sorting bins efficiently and safely.
- Inspect packages for damage or irregularities and report findings to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to company safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Operate basic material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, after receiving appropriate training and certification.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure daily operational targets and deadlines are met or exceeded.
- Assist in the inventory management process, including counting and reconciliation of packages when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations and logistics flow, adapting to changing priorities.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive, proactive attitude in a dynamic work environment.
- Ensure all packages are handled with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity throughout the sorting process.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (full shift duration).
