Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust various types of packaging machinery for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform routine and thorough quality checks on products during and after the packaging process to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Ensure all packaged products meet Career.zycto's stringent quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Efficiently and safely load and unload materials and finished products onto packaging lines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and GMPs.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues, reporting major malfunctions promptly to supervisors for resolution.
- Accurately complete all necessary production logs, documentation, and quality records.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve daily production targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant industry regulations.
- Assist with the inventory management of packaging materials, ensuring adequate supply and proper storage.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Packaging Operator or in a similar production/manufacturing role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to product quality.
- Demonstrated ability to operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting on packaging machinery.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of production line processes.
- Excellent understanding and adherence to safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, machine interface, and record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or certification in manufacturing, mechanics, industrial operations, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Forklift certification or prior experience operating material handling equipment.
