Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping according to company standards and guidelines.
- Verify product quantities and ensure items match order specifications, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.
- Inspect products for quality control, ensuring they are free from damage or defects before packing.
- Securely pack items using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and necessary documentation accurately to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at the packing station and surrounding areas.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and restocking supplies as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry objects up to 25 lbs consistently throughout a shift
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, packing, or production environment
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes
