Key Responsibilities
- Prepare exterior surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and caulking.
- Apply primers, paints, stains, and sealers to various exterior surfaces such as siding, trim, decks, and fences using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and storage.
- Protect surrounding areas and landscaping from paint splatter and damage.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status, timelines, and any potential issues.
- Ensure high-quality finishes and attention to detail on all projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Manage time efficiently to complete projects within agreed-upon schedules.
- Conduct final inspections to ensure client satisfaction and address any touch-ups needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional exterior residential painting experience.
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques (scraping, sanding, caulking, patching).
- Expertise in applying various types of paint and coatings.
- Ability to work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and paint supplies (up to 50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
