Job Description

Are you an experienced and skilled Painter with a keen eye for detail, seeking a role that offers both diverse projects and the invaluable benefit of a flexible schedule? Career.zycto is actively seeking talented Painters to join our growing network, serving a wide array of clients across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors within Wembley, London, and surrounding areas. This is an exceptional opportunity for professionals who thrive on delivering high-quality finishes and managing their workload with autonomy.

At Career.zycto, we understand the importance of work-life balance and the desire for varied, engaging work. Our flexible scheduling model is designed to empower you, allowing you to tailor your working hours and project commitments to fit your personal needs, without compromising on professional excellence. You’ll be entrusted with projects ranging from meticulous interior painting of high-end residential properties to large-scale commercial refurbishments, bringing your expertise to diverse environments and challenges.

Your day-to-day will involve a comprehensive range of painting and decorating tasks. This includes diligent surface preparation – cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming – to ensure a flawless foundation for every coat. You will be responsible for selecting, mixing, and matching paints to achieve precise colours and textures, advising clients on the best materials and finishes for their specific needs. Applying various types of paint, stains, varnishes, and lacquers using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment will be a core part of your craft. Furthermore, protecting adjacent surfaces and furniture from paint splatters and ensuring a clean, tidy work area throughout and upon completion of each project is paramount.

We pride ourselves on the professionalism and craftsmanship of our team. As a Painter with Career.zycto, you will not only execute painting tasks but also conduct thorough quality checks to guarantee impeccable results that meet both client expectations and industry standards. You will be expected to maintain your tools and equipment in excellent condition, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times. Effective communication with clients, project managers, and fellow tradespeople is crucial, keeping everyone informed of progress and potential adjustments. This role demands a high level of self-management, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, all while enjoying the freedom that a flexible working pattern provides. If you are passionate about transforming spaces with colour and precision, and eager to take control of your professional journey, we invite you to explore this unique opportunity.
