This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate leadership and expert clinical guidance during a critical time for patients and their families. As the Palliative Care Lead, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of dignified care, comfort, and support are consistently delivered throughout the night.

You will oversee a team of skilled healthcare professionals, fostering an environment of excellence, empathy, and continuous improvement. This role demands a clinician with profound experience in palliative and end-of-life care, possessing strong leadership capabilities, impeccable communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to patient advocacy.

Working the night shift requires a unique blend of resilience, autonomy, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure, often with limited immediate support. You will be the primary point of contact for complex palliative care needs, providing specialist advice and interventions that significantly impact patient comfort and family reassurance. If you are passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of those navigating advanced illness, and are ready to embrace a leadership role that offers both challenge and immense reward, we encourage you to apply. • Ensure strict adherence to clinical governance, regulatory standards, and best practice guidelines.
  • Contribute to ongoing staff development through education, mentorship, and clinical supervision.

  • Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
