Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates.
- Repair, replace, and adjust damaged body parts and chassis frames using specialized tools and techniques.
- Perform dent removal, panel beating, and body alignment procedures.
- Utilize welding, grinding, and filling techniques to restore vehicle surfaces.
- Prepare repaired surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with paint technicians, mechanics, and other team members.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive repair technologies and methods.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Body Repair Technician.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body structures, materials, and repair processes.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of body repair tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Ability to perform welding, sanding, and filling tasks to a high standard.
