Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle body damage accurately and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform skilled repair work on various vehicle body panels, including dent removal, filling, and sanding.
- Execute panel replacement, cutting, shaping, and fitting new or repaired sections.
- Utilize welding equipment (MIG/MAG, spot welding) and other specialized tools to repair and fabricate metal components.
- Ensure precise alignment of body panels and components.
- Adhere strictly to manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.
- Collaborate with paint technicians and other team members to ensure a seamless repair process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Document repair processes, parts used, and time taken accurately.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Karosseriebauer.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG/MAG, spot welding) and metal fabrication.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for automotive aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of vehicle safety systems and structural integrity.
- Valid driver's license.
