Key Responsibilities

  • Assess vehicle body damage accurately and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform skilled repair work on various vehicle body panels, including dent removal, filling, and sanding.
  • Execute panel replacement, cutting, shaping, and fitting new or repaired sections.
  • Utilize welding equipment (MIG/MAG, spot welding) and other specialized tools to repair and fabricate metal components.
  • Ensure precise alignment of body panels and components.
  • Adhere strictly to manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.
  • Collaborate with paint technicians and other team members to ensure a seamless repair process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Document repair processes, parts used, and time taken accurately.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Karosseriebauer.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in welding (MIG/MAG, spot welding) and metal fabrication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for automotive aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of vehicle safety systems and structural integrity.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification or apprenticeship as a Panel Beater/Karosseriebauer.
  • Experience with vehicle diagnostic tools for body and chassis systems.
  • Familiarity with various types of vehicle materials (steel, aluminum, composites).
  • Certification in specific welding techniques or advanced repair methodologies.
  • Proficiency in German language (B2 level or higher).
