Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stage incoming parcels and freight from delivery vehicles.
- Accurately scan and sort packages according to destination, size, and type using automated or manual systems.
- Manually lift, carry, push, and pull parcels weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) frequently and continuously throughout the shift.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (training provided as needed).
- Load outgoing packages onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement to optimize space.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Identify and report any damaged packages, sorting discrepancies, or operational issues to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and meet daily sorting targets.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
