Key Responsibilities
- Direct vehicles to available parking spaces efficiently and safely within the Mkoani terminal parking lot.
- Monitor the parking area for unauthorized vehicles, suspicious activities, or any safety hazards.
- Provide clear, polite, and helpful instructions to drivers and passengers.
- Assist customers with general inquiries related to parking, terminal facilities, or ferry schedules.
- Ensure pedestrian safety by managing vehicle speeds and movements in crowded areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the parking facility, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Collect parking fees, issue tickets, and reconcile daily transactions (if applicable).
- Communicate effectively with security personnel, terminal staff, and management.
- Handle minor disputes or issues with professionalism and escalate complex problems as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and local traffic laws.
