Job Description
Massinga Beach Lodge is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Cafeteria Helper to join our vibrant kitchen and service team in Mapinhane, Inhambane. This essential role supports the efficient operation of our staff cafeteria, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment for all our lodge employees. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the staff cafeteria and kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and sweeping/mopping floors.
- Set up and replenish food and beverage stations in the cafeteria.
- Clear tables, dispose of waste properly, and ensure dining areas are always tidy.
- Monitor inventory of cafeteria supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to staff utilizing the cafeteria.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Management.
