Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card payments, ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and resolving minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking and arranging products near the register.
- Assist customers with bagging purchases and carrying items if necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.
- Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and company services to customers.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role (minimum 6 months).
