Job Description

OK Zimbabwe Limited in Murehwa is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Delivery Driver. In this essential role, you will be the face of OK Zimbabwe, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our valued customers within Murehwa and its immediate surrounding areas. This position directly impacts customer satisfaction and our operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute safe and efficient delivery of customer orders and internal transfers within Murehwa, following assigned routes and schedules.
  • Accurately load, secure, and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring careful handling of all goods.
  • Verify order accuracy with customers upon delivery and process necessary documentation, including collecting payments or signatures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and optimal operational condition of the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and driving regulations at all times.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing OK Zimbabwe Limited professionally and courteously.
  • Assist with general in-store duties as needed, especially during non-delivery periods or low delivery volumes.
  • Maintain precise records of all delivery activities, including invoices, manifests, and related paperwork.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class 4 driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 6 months of proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistical role.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of Murehwa and its immediate local areas.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights, up to 25 kg.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Prior experience in retail or grocery delivery services.
  • Familiarity with using GPS or other navigation tools for route optimization.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge for routine checks.
