Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, seating them appropriately.
- Present menus, inform guests of daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor dining area for cleanliness and ensure tables are cleared and reset quickly.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a waitress or server in a restaurant setting (at least 6 months).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
