Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including shelving, displays, and common areas.
  • Replenish stock on shelves, ensuring merchandise is well-presented and fully stocked.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints or issues efficiently and politely.
  • Assist in creating attractive visual displays and ensuring merchandise is correctly priced.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including security measures and health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and counting change.
