Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Parcel Sorter to join our dedicated team in Hastings-Sunrise, Vancouver. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort parcels and packages by destination, size, and type onto designated conveyors or bins.
- Efficiently load and unload parcels from trucks, containers, and conveyor belts.
- Scan package labels with handheld devices to ensure proper tracking and inventory management.
- Inspect parcels for damage and report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily sorting targets and operational goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required to support logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parcel handling role.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment.
