Career.zycto is actively seeking a meticulous and dedicated Part-Time Warehouse Quality Checker to join our operations in Yaba, Lagos. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods, verifying quantity, quality, and adherence to specifications against purchase orders and quality standards.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure products are correctly picked, packed, and free from defects before dispatch.
- Identify, document, and report any quality non-conformances, damages, or discrepancies, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality inspections, observations, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to implement corrective and preventive actions to improve overall product quality.
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed for inspection processes (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the quality control area.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong observational and analytical skills to detect product faults.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record-keeping.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods.
