In this role, you will be responsible for managing a comprehensive inventory, processing orders, and providing expert advice on parts identification and availability. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist service technicians in identifying and ordering correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on parts inquiries, availability, pricing, and suitability for their vehicles.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Process parts orders efficiently, including receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming shipments.
  • Utilize electronic parts catalogues and inventory management systems effectively.
  • Handle warranty parts processing and returns in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal staff and external customers.
  • Identify opportunities for parts sales and promote accessories or special offers.
  • Stay updated on new vehicle models, parts, and industry trends.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Parts Advisor in an automotive dealership or service center.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and components.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and electronic parts catalogues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and French (bilingualism preferred).
  • Exceptional customer service and sales abilities.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certification or diploma in Automotive Parts & Service or a related field.
  • Experience with specific dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with Outremont, Montreal, and its local customer base.
