Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and speciality beverages, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain all coffee-making equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations.
- Handle cash and card transactions using a POS system, ensuring accuracy and proper till reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee bar area, including regular cleaning of machines, counters, and dining spaces.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
- Educate customers on various coffee blends, preparation methods, and menu items.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns with patience and a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service during peak hours.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista, demonstrating proficiency in espresso machine operation and latte art.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee types, roasting, and brewing methods.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems for handling transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
