Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Pastry Chefs with the preparation and production of various pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and organized, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
  • Wash and properly store kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
  • Assist with plating, garnishing, and packaging finished products.
  • Receive and store inventory, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to the Pastry Chef.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and orderly workstation throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
