Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of pastry items, including cakes, cookies, tarts, and other baked goods, according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately, ensuring consistency in product quality.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, and proofers.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.
- Decorate and finish pastries with precision and an eye for aesthetic appeal.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely production.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Support the Head Baker and other senior staff in various tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a bakery or food preparation environment (at least 6 months).
- Basic understanding of baking principles and pastry techniques.
