Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and dressing, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Help patients with ambulation and transfers, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment, including tidying rooms and changing bed linens.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comforting and reassuring atmosphere.
- Assist with meal service and feeding, ensuring patients receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Respond to patient call lights promptly and professionally, addressing immediate needs or seeking assistance from senior staff.
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records as required.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere strictly to all infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and company policies.
