Key Responsibilities
- Assist nurses with basic patient care activities, including feeding, bathing, and dressing pediatric patients.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in patient rooms and common areas of the pediatric unit.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to children, engaging them in age-appropriate activities and companionship.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers as directed by nursing staff, ensuring patient safety.
- Monitor and report any changes in a child's condition or behavior to the nursing team promptly.
- Restock supplies and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with children, parents, and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
