Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems under supervision.
- Document identified vulnerabilities and provide preliminary actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Learn and apply various penetration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP).
- Support senior testers in developing comprehensive security assessment reports.
- Research new threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to stay current with industry trends.
- Participate actively in team discussions and contribute to improving testing processes and strategies.
- Adhere strictly to ethical hacking guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to expand cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS).
- Basic knowledge of operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows.
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash).
