Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport the principal to and from various destinations, including appointments, meetings, and personal engagements.
- Plan optimal routes to minimize travel time and avoid traffic congestion, utilizing navigation tools effectively.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in impeccable condition, ensuring cleanliness, regular servicing, and timely repairs.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights, etc.) to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of the principal and vehicle.
- Assist the principal with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other items as required.
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality regarding the principal's schedule and personal information.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with the principal and other staff members.
- Manage and track vehicle expenses, including fuel purchases and maintenance costs.
- Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the principal's schedule.
- Maintain an updated knowledge of local roads, alternative routes, and traffic patterns in Lagos.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian driver's license (Class B or higher)
- Impeccable driving record with no major violations
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, especially Lagos Island and surrounding areas
- Strong defensive driving skills and commitment to safety
- Exceptional time management and punctuality
