Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport the client, their family, or guests to various destinations as required.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent working condition, ensuring regular cleaning, servicing, and necessary repairs.
- Conduct daily checks on oil, water, battery, tires, and brakes.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and potential delays.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
- Maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality regarding the client's affairs.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
- Handle unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Communicate effectively with the client regarding schedule changes or potential delays.
- Perform minor vehicle adjustments and emergency repairs when necessary.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class B or above)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience (personal or corporate)
- Excellent knowledge of Port Harcourt road networks and routes
- Impeccable driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Punctual, reliable, and highly responsible
- Ability to use GPS navigation systems effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends when required
