Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of personal support workers, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of personal support services, optimizing efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks and client assessments to ensure high standards of care delivery.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and social care regulations, CQC standards, and internal protocols.
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development and training opportunities for personal support staff.
  • Manage administrative tasks including record-keeping, incident reporting, and performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery processes and team performance.

Required Skills

  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred, but not essential depending on coverage area).

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with care planning software or electronic record systems.
  • First Aid and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Experience in training and developing care staff.
