Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest infestations, assess damage, and determine the most effective treatment plans.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control treatments safely and efficiently, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Install and service bait stations, traps, and other pest management devices.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies, sanitation practices, and potential health risks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, and client interactions.
- Manage and organize service routes to ensure timely and efficient completion of jobs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of services and addressing their concerns.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Pest Control Technician.
- Valid German driver's license (Class B or equivalent).
- Proven ability to identify common pests (insects, rodents, etc.) and their behaviors.
- Strong understanding of pesticide application techniques and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a service route efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Schädlingsbekämpfer (Pest Control Specialist) qualification in Germany.
- Prior experience working with a diverse range of clients (residential, commercial, industrial).
- Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles.
- Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and route management.
