Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Petrochemical Plant Operations Assistant to join our thriving team in Sternschanze, Hamburg. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist plant operators in monitoring process parameters, equipment performance, and alarm systems.
  • Perform routine checks, inspections, and minor maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
  • Document operational data, complete shift logs, and report any deviations or incidents promptly.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Support the preparation of equipment for maintenance, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products, as required.
  • Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the plant area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of process equipment and control systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational degree or certification in Process Technology, Chemical Operations, or a related field.

  • Forklift operation certification.
