Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reservoir engineering studies, including material balance, decline curve analysis, and reservoir simulation.
  • Develop and optimize field development plans, including well placement, drilling programs, and completion strategies.
  • Perform production forecasting, economic evaluations, and risk assessments for new and existing projects.
  • Monitor and analyze well performance data to identify production enhancement opportunities.
  • Design and implement Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production teams to ensure integrated project execution.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in petroleum engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, Petrel, CMG).
  • Strong understanding of well completion, artificial lift systems, and production operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in oil and gas reservoir characterization and development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with unconventional resources (shale, tight gas).
  • Knowledge of digital oilfield technologies and data analytics.
  • Professional engineering license (e.g., CEng, P.Eng).
  • Prior experience working in diverse international project environments.
