Key Responsibilities
- Conduct reservoir engineering studies, including material balance, decline curve analysis, and reservoir simulation.
- Develop and optimize field development plans, including well placement, drilling programs, and completion strategies.
- Perform production forecasting, economic evaluations, and risk assessments for new and existing projects.
- Monitor and analyze well performance data to identify production enhancement opportunities.
- Design and implement Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production teams to ensure integrated project execution.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Ensure all operations comply with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in petroleum engineering roles.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, Petrel, CMG).
- Strong understanding of well completion, artificial lift systems, and production operations.
- Demonstrated experience in oil and gas reservoir characterization and development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with unconventional resources (shale, tight gas).
- Knowledge of digital oilfield technologies and data analytics.
- Professional engineering license (e.g., CEng, P.Eng).
