Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing and packaging prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stock rotation, ordering, and receiving supplies.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering patient inquiries and directing them to the Pharmacist when necessary.
  • Process patient prescriptions and insurance information with precision.
  • Adhere strictly to all pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare medication labels and maintain patient records confidentially.
  • Assist with basic compounding under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
  • Handle cash transactions and manage point-of-sale systems.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terms and medication classifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
