Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing and packaging prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stock rotation, ordering, and receiving supplies.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering patient inquiries and directing them to the Pharmacist when necessary.
- Process patient prescriptions and insurance information with precision.
- Adhere strictly to all pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare medication labels and maintain patient records confidentially.
- Assist with basic compounding under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Handle cash transactions and manage point-of-sale systems.
