Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications, including counting, pouring, and labeling according to physician's orders.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries, handling prescription pick-ups, and processing payments.
- Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist in compounding medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Process insurance claims and resolve basic billing issues.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately, escalating complex issues to the pharmacist.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription refill requests.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications and pharmacy software systems.
