Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medicines and provide clear, concise patient counselling on medication use, side effects, and storage.
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews (MURS) and New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations to optimize patient adherence and outcomes.
- Deliver a range of clinical services, including vaccinations, minor ailment consultations, and health screenings, in line with national guidelines.
- Oversee the management of pharmacy stock, ensuring appropriate inventory levels, proper storage, and expiry date monitoring.
- Adhere strictly to all General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including GPs and nurses, to provide integrated patient care.
- Participate in health promotion campaigns and initiatives to educate the local community on various health topics.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
Required Skills
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to apply it in practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse patient populations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and IT systems

Preferred Qualifications
- Independent Prescriber qualification
