Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and needs at the counter.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Handle cash and card transactions, manage the till, and maintain accurate records.
- Advise customers on over-the-counter products and general health queries, referring complex cases to the pharmacist.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-store area, including shelves and product displays.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
- Handle telephone inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all privacy regulations.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required to support pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and pharmacy policies.

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic accounting.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (POS systems, data entry).

- Fluent in English and French (Mauritian Creole is a strong asset).
